The company has strategic partnership with HERE Technologies and Dignitas; and Emory Healthcare to develop and test 5G Ultra Wideband-enabled use cases. The company was formerly known as Bell Atlantic Corporation and changed its name to Verizon Communications Inc. in June 2000.
